Kanikhat

nga (fish) rwan na hwan zui zui ongnu inza dingmu luga balungning nungai takka ong
ngaak e. Bakhwasei maknu sungbi tuilan la zahaaz (ship) lian nu khat tuipui tui
kabaabnu bi bazaangga hungna nu mu rwe. Maan na baning nge heiba zahaaz liannu
heiya soimakka kasukluga tuithwei ta dam
luzung rwe diga basung tamga ong ngaak rwe. Haba zahaaz ka se hung kadei makka
tui kabaab rakan hungbriakpi tui khutluga thum tadam nu bamik bahak na mu rwe. Maan
na basung nungai makka Rikrwang khou kabia rwe, “Rikrwang nangna tu ongnu heiya
samak e. Misia kasem saruk pi zahaaz pi mi kasanu heiza ding tuthat nu ba zamak
e.”
Maan
na hadan kabia ongbi maanna han ongnu bake (feet) thwei bina tangem (ant) ka luga bating ei (bite) rwe. Haba maanpa na balaoga phaangta da bakom bi tangem tamga
lon brik ongnu mu rwe. Maanna bating einu tangem khatting athat lang tobada bake (feet) na tangem taswang khak ting pan that thang rwe.
Ati
ongnu sung bi bamik pi Lord Hermes swak rwe atiluga rinne “Eina baning nge nang
intun ba gian ta ngaak rwe. Nangna tangem ding judge todamnu gadan Rikrwang le
tonu zung nge.”
Moral:
Mikhat om baraan (fault) zong swak bai ye.
This fable series is an attempt to inculcate the habit of reading Inpui literature.
