The silence of my heart
Speaks more than a thousand words.
A word you haven’t heard of,
High and upon the mountain
Where the stream flows
Bringing back old memories
Afresh!

How often have I paused?
How often have I blest the coming days?
Feels like the time has ceased.
With every hallway deserted
Everything has come to a halt,
Transcending me to a different world.
Is this a dreadful dream?
I inclined my ear
To hear the scream in the hollowness.
Everything  that is in my view
Is a sight of defeat.
Take me back
To where I was,
The old memories of love.
